about
Spending the beginning of autumn on the Adriatic coast I'd bought myself a book of poems by Thomas Hardy that made this end-of-the-season time even more beautiful than it already was. Afterwards, writing a song I've decided to use lyrics from one of Hardy's tragic poems "She At His Funeral" and it became this dark piece of music you hear.
lyrics
They bear him to his resting-place--
In slow procession sweeping by;
I follow at a stranger's space;
His kindred they, his sweetheart I.
Unchanged my gown of garish dye,
Though sable-sad is their attire;
But they stand round with griefless eye,
Whilst my regret consumes like fire!

I stumbled on it in 2012 and thought - "wow, the guys sound great! Where was that recorded?". Than I've read it was all recorded and mixed by themselves... So this showed me the power of DIY. Verona Boys
